Background-

Bayes Business School’s MSc in Management has earned third place in the UK in the Financial Times’ latest global rankings. The programme also climbed 17 places to reach 48th worldwide and rose 11 places to 42nd in Europe.

The FT Masters in Management Ranking assesses degrees from universities across the globe each year. It relies on data from schools and feedback from alumni collected three years after graduation.

Alumni career success carries the most weight in the ranking, alongside alumni satisfaction, internationalisation, diversity and research output.

Bayes scored strongly on alumni salary growth and career progression. The school also ranked highly for the international mix of its students and faculty.

Dr Joerg-Martin Ries, Course Director for MSc Management at Bayes, said the result reflects efforts to make the course rewarding for students both during and after their studies.

He said the programme builds skills in leadership, strategy, finance, analytics and digital technologies, while pairing academic rigour with practical problem-solving.

Professor Richard Payne, Deputy Dean for Programmes at Bayes Business School, called the ranking rise a strong outcome for one of the school’s flagship postgraduate courses. He credited faculty and staff for delivering results that lead to real career impact for graduates.

The course lets students work on live consultancy projects with industry partners, tackling real organisational problems while building professional networks from Bayes’ base in London’s Square Mile.
